Hopewell Meeting was located on SR 377 north of Pennsville. Pennsville MM asked Stillwater QM on 8/30/1837 to open a meeting "at or near the School House in the neighborhood of Caleb Gregg and to be known by the name of Hopewell..." The QM did not grant the request at that time. |
