Hopewell Preparative Meeting was a continuation of the earlier Morgan PM, which had been established in 1841. It met in the Hopewell Meeting House north of Pennsville. Although the meeting was quite large in its early years, disownments and removals to Iowa reduced attendance. In 1877, the PM was laid down and attached to Pennsville PM. |
