When Stillwater QM established the PM here in 1841, it assigned the name of "Morgan PM" though local Friends specifically requested the name of Hopewell PM. The PM was first held on 10/7/1841 and at this first session requested to change its name to Hopewell PM. Stillwater QM agreed to the change on 12/4/1841, and the name change took effect at the following session of the PM on 1/6/1842.
