Pike Run PM was one of three PMs in Westland MM (Hicksite). The meeting was originally fairly strong, but as time passed members moved away, leaving the Griffith family as the dominant presence. The Hicksite FMH was built in 1828 and was used throughout the existence of the PM. Reduced attendance led to the laying down of the PM in 1849. Worship continued thereafter; Westland MM (H) reported to Salem QM on 8/8/1863 that Pike Run Friends had recently stopped holding meetings.
