Pike Run PM was held in a FMH northwest of Westland for 54 years. The Griffith family was prominent in the meeting throughout its existence. Worship was initiated here in 1793, and the PM was granted in 1800. The original FMH burned in 1828 around the time of the Orthodox-Hicksite division, and both groups built FMHs on the property. The Orthodox PM was laid down in 1854, when Amos Griffith was preparing to move to Redstone. The Hicksite Pike Run PM had been laid down by this time, but Griffith family members continued to meet in the Hicksite FMH until 1863.
