The meeting was also known as Ten Mile Creek Meeting, particularly in its early years. Throughout its existence, the MM appointed a committee to visit it for a defined period of time (often a year). The committee reported on 5/25/1811 that the meeting was weak but that worship should continue. Friends there requested to be laid down on 5/23/1812, which the MM granted on 7/25/1812. |
