Stillwater MM (H) was one of the earliest Hicksite MMs in Ohio. It was formed by Hicksites of the pre-division Stillwater and Somerset MMs. Although some Hicksites lived near the Stillwater Meeting House, that meeting was actually small. The members were fairly scattered, and they opened additional PMs in the 1830s. Half of the subordinate meetings were laid down in the years 1840 to 1849. The meeting at Duck Creek was located in Noble County, and the meeting at Sunbury was located in Monroe County. After Sunbury was laid down in 1866, the MM had two PMs that survived into the twentieth century: Richland (Quaker City) and Somerset. The MM was last held at Richland in 1913. The final minute book is held today by a descendant in Chicago.
