Deer Creek MM (H) was the successor organization to Marlborough MM (H). In 1848, with all other PMs having been laid down in Marlborough MM, the MM was re-named Deer Creek. By this time, the meeting was quite small, and it survived only a decade. Thereafter, the meeting continued to dwindle, and eventually former YM clerk Benjamin Marshall was one of a few Friends worshipping at Deer Creek.
