Hannah S. Ladd was one of Ohio's leading Gurneyites in the 1840s and 1850s. She was the daughter of John and Lydia Wood. The wife of Benjamin W. Ladd, she served as Assistant Clerk of the Ohio women's YM 1842-1854. She is also the last person known to have had the minute book of the Ohio YM for Ministers & Elders, which she did not turn in when BWL died in 1851. She later married John C. Hill.
