Joseph E. Meyers is best remembered for a series of memorials he wrote in the 1920s for Ohio Friends.
Meyers was raised in Muncy MM of Philadelphia YM. He first came into contact with Ohio Friends during a visit by John Brantingham. Thereafter, Meyers moved to Ohio and spent the remainder of his life among Ohio Friends. He lived in Iowa and at Stillwater. Following the death of his wife, Meyers moved to Rhode Island to live with his daughter.
