Sabina Townsend was a daughter of Jesse and Edith Townsend and a birthright member of Westland MM, born c. 1795. The family moved to Redstone MM in 1805. Sabina married John McDonnell, an Irish Friend, in 1815, but he died in 1822. She served as women's Redstone QM Assistant Clerk at the time of the Hicksite division, and she sided with the Hicksites. In 1838, Sabina McDonnell moved to Green Plains MM.
