Elizabeth M. Cope joined Friends at Providence in 1859. She was very active in Providence MM, mostly as a representative to Redstone QM but also in serving on committees to recommend Friends for clerk and overseer. She was frequently appointed to committees to prepare certificates of removal from 1865 to 1869. In the Providence minutes, her name was often given as Elizabeth W. Cope.
