Richard Johns was a weighty Friend of Westland Meeting. In 1810, he was appointed as one of several companions to accompany Hannah Yarnall during her travels in Ohio. He was recommended as an Elder at Westland, but he died while the committee was considering his name. He died between 11/24/1810 and 12/23/1810 while travelling with Yarnall.
