Sarah Griffith was a somewhat prominent member of Providence MM before she and her husband separated in 1825. The meeting tried unsuccessfully to reconcile the two. Sarah Griffith later moved to Deerfield Meeting and worshipped with the Orthodox there; she applied to have her membership restored there, but the women's MM at Providence believed that Sarah should attempt to reconcile with her husband again. Her name is given as "Margaret Griffith" in some places in EAQG, with the same children listed.
