John Brock was the husband of Jane Brock, a minister at Westland. While they lived in Hopewell MM prior to moving to Westland, the Brocks attended the Back Creek Meeting. John Brock was an overseer at Back Creek. When they moved to Westland in 1796, their children remained in Virginia. Jane died in 1805, and the following year John moved to Concord MM, PYM.
