Elizabeth Nichols was an early minister in the Westland area. She had been recognized as a minister in Philadelphia YM.
In 1788, Nichols had a concern to visit Westland Meeting and its members. While there, she traveled to visit among those who had given up their membership. Her visit was appreciated by many.
Nichols moved to Westland in 1793 and lived the remainder of her life there.
