Muddy Creek Meeting was located near Gerard's Fort, Greene County. The first marriage here (1806) was held in the house of John Hanks. The meeting was re-named Ridge Meeting when the PM was granted in 1824. It is possible that Muddy Creek was part of Head of Wheeling PM after 1815. |
