Fallowfield Meeting was the second meeting to be opened on the west side of the Monongahela River. First held in the house of Joshua Dixon, the meeting was called Monongahela Meeting until 1793 when it was re-named Fallowfield. A meeting house was built in 1799 (possibly the second). It is not clear why this meeting did not survive, as it was one of the first in Redstone QM to be laid down. |
