The second Middleton FMH was a brick building constructed near the southeastern corner of Section 23 of Fairfield Township. After the meeting house was built, the intersection became known as "New Middleton," as it appears on the 1860 Map of Columbiana County. The marker on the map indicates its approximate location.
The meeting house burned in 1858, and the third Middleton FMH was then built slightly to the south. |
