The third New Garden FMH was a frame building constructed in 1839. The MM decided to rebuild further north in a location nearer to the center of the settlement of Quakers.
This meeting house continued in use until the New Garden FMH #4 was built in 1895. The third meeting house was moved to the north so the fourth meeting house could be constructed on its site. The third meeting house was used for other purposes for a century but was relocated to a site just north of the fourth meeting house circa 2010. |
