Salem PM was one of the longest lasting Hicksite PMs in their Ohio YM. The meeting originally met in the Salem Friends school house, then shared the Salem FMH. When the Salem FMH was sold, the Hicksites purchased land on today's Ellsworth Avenue and built a yearly meeting house.
The PM was laid down in 1873, but worship continued. The MM continued to meet after Ohio YM (H) was laid down, last meeting in 1937. |
