The following information is provided in the History of Crawford County, Pennsylvania, vol. 1, p. 525. The meeting house was located in Coneaut Township.
"An early society of Friends or Quakers ... included in membership Stephen and Joseph Fish, Cornelius Lawson, William Hill, David Latimer, Peter Thorn, Isaac Paden, John Rushmore, and others to about the number of thirty. Meetings were held at [the] Lawson's dwelling until about 1840, when a log [meeting house] was erected in the northwest corner of Tract 724, where the ... burial ground is still preserved." |
