This is one of three women at Short Creek MM in the early 1800s with the name of Mary Patterson. Two woman named Mary Patterson were married to men named Joseph Patterson, and both couples moved from Jack Swamp MM in North Carolina YM to Short Creek MM in the very early 1800s. It appears that the Mary Patterson who died in 1815 was a different Mary, as her age at death was given as 45 - this would place her birth at c. 1770. The Mary Patterson on this page was married in 1785.
