Margaret N. Starbuck was a peace activist of Salem Meeting. She was raised in Cleveland, Ohio in a non-Quaker family. At the end of World War II, she was working as bookkeeper and treasurer of the Pine Mountain Settlement School in Kentucky. After she married Robert Starbuck, she became a teacher. Margaret was heavily involved in the Peace Committee for decades. |
