Clayton Kille was a son of Isaac & Martha Kille, who were not Friends. He married (1) Elizabeth Cleaver on 10/21/1802; a practicing Baptist, she died 9/17/1820; (2) Rebecca Coppock 1823; she died circa 1835; and (3) Mary Butler in 1836.
The Kille family moved to Stark County in 1819, when his uncle Samuel Davis helped him to rent a farm from the Hicklen family. The Kille family purchased a farm with a two-story log house that featured a two-story front porch. Kille joined Friends at Marlborough in 1821.
