Albert Livezey was a leader in the peace movement in Ohio YM in the 20th century. He worked with the AFSC in France at the time of World War I, became an orchardist at Barnesville afterwards, and in 1954 was elected chairman of the Ohio State Horticultural Society. He represented Ohio as a delegate to the national convention of the Socialist Party in 1948 and voted for the nomination of Norman Thomas.
