Uniontown Monthly Meeting was one of several new meetings of the mid-twentieth century in the upper Ohio River valley. The meeting affiliated with Short Creek QM and was active for about a decade thereafter. The meeting went dormant in the mid-1970s but continued theoretically active. In 1991, Patrick Burns expressed a concern at Ohio YM that it was not truthful to continue Uniontown as an active meeting when it had then been inactive for a decade and a half, and thereafter Short Creek QM laid down Uniontown MM.
