The group of Friends calling themselves the "Remnants" were formed in 1871 primarily out of the Otisite Friends but also from Ohio GM and other Primitive and Wilburite bodies. The defining feature of the Remnants was their belief that the holding of business meetings fostered disunity; these groups only held very informal business meetings. Remnants meetings were held in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. |
