The Linn Otisites were the minority of their meeting at the time of the King-Otis division. By the time they began to meet, most Friends in the former Salem QM (P) were in the process of joining Ohio YM through its local meetings (they were the larger, Kingite, group). The small Otis meeting sought to be recognized by Ohio GM unsuccessfully. It later joined Salem MM (Kollite) in Ohio. When Salem MM was laid down, the Linn Otisites were attached to Fallsington. |
